Canada Post Mail Service Disruption
Due to the disruption in Canada Post mail services, the Tribunal will be taking specific measures for dealing with business mail. Please note that:
- All non-urgent correspondence that is normally sent via Canada Post will be held until the duration of the mail disruption can be determined.
- There will be no change for items currently sent or received via Canpar Courier.
- There will be no change for documents received by the Tribunal via fax.
- Canada Post’s Xpresspost will not be providing service during the service disruption.
- Canpar is able to deliver to rural route addresses if the RR number is replaced with a complete mailing address. Canpar may also be able to deliver to apartments or suites, but only if the receiving party is present to accept the package. In buildings with security, the courier may be prevented from entering premises even if the receiving party is present at the location.
We appreciate your patience during the disruption of normal mail services. If you have questions regarding Tribunal mail services at this time, please contact the Tribunal at: 416-314-8800. We expect a larger than normal volume of incoming calls to the Tribunal’s Call Centre so please be ready with your WSIAT number if you call.
