Notice Regarding WSIAT Decision Format
Beginning in December 2005, parties to Tribunal hearings will notice a difference in the appearance of WSIAT decisions. In 2005, the Tribunal undertook a review of its decision formats with a view to improving the readability of its decisions. We have redesigned the first page of the decision to appear as a "cover page", that will separate administrative information about the case from the text of the decision. At the same time, we have added the provincial Coat of Arms to this cover page, to ensure that the presentation of our decisions complies with provincial visual identity guidelines. We expect the transition to this new design will be complete by January 2006. While the visual appearance of the Tribunal's decisions will change, our commitment to the Tribunal's standards for fully reasoned decisions will continue.
